The Skills Bar has been developed to ensure our retailers are fully equipped with the necessary expertise to succeed. Our Skills Bar has elements to assist both newcomers and experienced licensees.

We have recently relaunched our training provision, making the opportunity to gain business acumen and real life cash earning skills more accessible to our current and future businesses partners.

The Skills Bar steers well away from the rigid concept of training and introduces a completely practical approach. We understand that everyone has different learning styles - a classroom environment is not best for some! The Skills Bar elements include everything from online learning through to practical in-house training sessions.

The whole programme is not exclusive to tenant or leaseholder either; it is for their staff too. We recognise that eighty percent of sales made in pubs are by staff, and that how they work is an essential factor in a pub's success.

The programme aims to make ordering from 'The Bar' straightforward for those wanting to expand or improve a part of their business.
