Cask Marque for the Union

The Union Hotel, KnaresboroughCask Ale is one of the best performing drinks categories at the moment, and enjoying a revival. It's always been the one drink that you can't buy in the supermarkets, so keeping a great pint in your pub is so important. Paul Outhwaite and his team clearly know this and having kept great cask ales for many years have been acknowledged for their high standards. You may recognise Paul from the Marston's information DVD and the testimonials on this site. He took the tenancy on the Union back in February 2009 and has certainly made his mark.

The Union is located in the delightful village of Calcutt on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Knaresborough; it's a traditional village inn full of warmth and character, proud to focus on real ale and home cooked food.
